Re-Enrollment for 2025-2026
Parents/Guardians, please be sure to sign up through the in-school lessons signup provided by your orchestra teacher. Your orchestra teacher sends out this link at the very beginning of the school year. My teaching schedule for in-school lessons is created from this signup so you don’t want to miss it!

How do I log into the Family Portal of My Music Staff?
Please log in here to view your student’s lesson schedule and pay your monthly invoice.
If you haven’t set up your login yet, please contact Mrs. Powell with your student’s full name and ask her to resend your website login information.

What can I do once logged into My Music Staff?
After logging in, you can:
-
View your student’s lesson schedule
-
Securely pay monthly tuition or set up auto-pay
-
Manage scheduling requests like cancellations or rescheduling
Please note: Do not contact Mrs. Powell directly for cancellations or makeup lessons. All requests should be made through My Music Staff.
My Music Staff is simple and free to use. If you need help navigating it, don’t hesitate to reach out!
Where and when are lessons held?
Lessons occur once a week during your child’s orchestra class or after school.
Your student’s specific lesson time and location are available in your My Music Staff account.
If your child is unsure where to go in the first weeks, no worries! I will find them in orchestra class and show them where to go. I can also come get them if they forget to attend their lesson.
For after-school lessons, please meet me in the Orchestra Room for the first lesson if you’re unsure where to go.
What do we work on during lessons?
Lessons are personalized to fit your student’s playing level and goals.
You’ll be asked to purchase lesson music (a solo book and etude book) that we will work on together.
If your student had previous lessons, please bring the music from their last month of lessons — many method books are similar, which helps keep progress consistent.
I’m also happy to help with orchestra music your student needs assistance with, such as playing tests and auditions.
How Much Are Lessons? Practice Requirements? When do you teach? and more?
